At Build, the worldwide developers conference held in Anheinm / California from 13th to 16th of September 2011, Windows 8 and the latest evolutions of Windows Azure, the Microsoft Cloud Computing platform, was announced. Inside the second topic, the most important news was about Windows Azure AppFabric Service Bus, the reliable and secure infrastructure used by aKite to connect store and HQ to Retail Web Services, the intelligent hub in the Clouds that simplify IT and data sharing for a really “Connected Retail”.

The new feature, named Topic, improves radically the intelligence and power of the infrastructure handling the communication channels, with workload reduction on aKite services and thus an even higher scalability and updates rapidity. Security is always at maximum level using encryption and Public Authority certificates.

Among the 40 worldwide companies allowed to cooperate with Windows Azure AppFabric Service Bus development team lead by Clemens Vasters and test pre-release code, BEDIN Shop Systems has been chosen as the best example to show to the highly qualified developers that gathered in Anheim.
